Break Down

Create a basic prototype to share with investors. The goal is to include a user login screen, add devices, manage devices, pay bills, and see utility trends.

Building Foundations

One of the hardest things to do when having a home is download app after app to control 1 device. The constant need to create new accounts, go through paywalls, and register products is daunting. I wanted to create the app to centralize all of these apps into one.

Collaboration

Throughout the process, I worked closely with product designer, technologists, and iOS/Android Developers.

Outcome

Although I did not receive funding, I managed to figure out a quick and easy way to create a design system on the fly. By using Brad Frost's Atomic Design, I created a quick design system in a matter of a day.
